The training of your horse happens, in accordance with it´s experience and skills, in the round pen, outdoor arena, as well as in the
surrounding country side ensuring that your horse will be a real all-rounder.
We use positive reinforcement to create a happy working environment for your horse that will trust it´s rider and is willing to please.
We also put a focus on basic dressage work to have a supple and strong horse in all gaits.
While staying on the farm your horse will be well taken care of. Depending on the season your horse will reside on lush grass fields or in large paddocks that are cleaned daily. The horses always have access to high-quality mineral supplement as well as to high-quality local hay. This top-quality food is an important building block in the training of your horse! While your horse is in training with us you will have access to our on-site farrier who was trained in Iceland and is specialized in trimming and shoeing Icelandic horses.
