THE FARM

Tuskast Icelandic Horse Farm is a family run hobby farm nestled in the mountains of East Merritt, BC Canada.
Established since 2001 in Abbotsford, BC, Tuskast Icelandic Horse Farm has become one of the top promoters
of Icelandic Horses in British Columbia. 

 
 

The Icelandic Horse is our passion and our goal is to encourage and breed to the highest international standard
according to the FEIF (International Federation of Icelandic Horse Associations).
We breed, train, and sell purebred Icelandic Horses.
Our horses are exposed to many aspects of urban life, as well as trail and arena work. 
We will help find the horse for you whether it is from our small stock of horses, or from other farms.
We are actively involved in organizing and participating in shows, demos, evaluations, and we support all related activities.

The Canadian Icelandic Horse Federation [CIHF]is the guardian of this wonderful breed in Canada. The Federation is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the Icelandic horse and the education of Icelandic owners. The Federation also serves as a networking hub for the exchange of information between members.
Holar University College developed Knapamerki  (Icelandic Riding Levels) in Iceland in order to build up and develop both the theoretical and practical knowledge of Icelandic Horse riders. The program supports the growing interest in Icelandic horse riding and is now available in English.
